The first time I did this, I used a paragraph from my unfinished Vietnam fic and I apparently write like J.K. Rowling. No complaints there.
I did it again using another paragraph from the same story and got Stephen King. Again, no complaints.

JK Rowling? Wow, Jem, you can write like the single richest author the world has ever known that's a good skill to have.

Lost and Found = Arthur Conan Doyle

In the random start that i hope to finish but may never, I write like H.P. Lovecraft
In sleeping Shadows move I write like James Joyce
In the final age I write like Arthur C. Clarke for the opening(the book part), and Margret Atwood for the rest
In original story being torn open I write like Anne Rice
... and I write my disclaimers like H.P Lovecraft too
Oh, and Dead dougs nuts was written in the the style of Dan Brown
