It has come to my attention that some members are taking the captures/avatars/icons etc that have been created by other members here and posting them elsewhere. They have then either claimed them as their own or claim to have no idea where they found them but have decided to share with others. This has frustrated a couple of members as they have spent the time to create these things yet get no acknowledgement whatsoever.

Therefore I have added a new rule in regards to attachments. Please read the amendment to our rules to familiarise yourself with them.


A new member group has been created that has exactly the same permissions as our normal member group but without the ability to see or use attachments. If any member suddenly finds they are unable to view attachments then it has been brought to the attention of the administrators that they have breached the attachment rule.

If that member wishes to regain their attachment privileged then they either have to take down the offending material or ensure that all acknowledgements are made. They must then let the original creator know that they have done so. If that member is satisfied then they can let either administrator know and their attachment privilege will be re-instated. If they refuse to do either then their attachment privilege will be permanently revoked.


I don't like having to do this but I cannot turn a blind eye to this type of problem if our members our concerned about it. Just think of it as a necessary evil that your administrators hate having to do.
