Anything posted as such shall come under strict scrutiny and may be edited or deleted if deemed inappropriate. No embedding of videos or the like are allowed.

Links/Promotion of Other Sites
No links or promotion of other sites are allowed on the board unless they has been approved by either a moderator or the administrator of the board. Any post or signature that breaches this rule will be deleted and the member will receive a warning.

Changing Your Display Name
If you wish to change your display name then please send a pm to an administrator and your request shall considered. Members can only change their display name once a calendar year.
If your request for a change is allowed then you must display your previous display name in your signature for no less than one month. Also you must include any previous display name/s in your profile.

Inactive members
If a member has not visited the board within a six month period they shall be moved back into the Probie group with the same restrictions applying to them. If the member then returns, and they had previously had full access to the board and they wish to regain that access, then they have to PM either the administrator or moderator.
This shall be implemented at the end of June; and the end of December of any given calendar year. This just makes it easier for the administrators of the board to process.

Actively visiting but non-posting members
If a member has posted the required five (5) posts in order to become newbies to gain access to attachments and other parts of the board but do not post again within a three (3) month period they shall be moved back into the +Probie group with the same restrictions applying to them. In order to avoid being demoted back to the +probie group then all a member has to do is post at least once within a three (3) month period.
This is being implemented as it has come to the attention of not only the administrators but also full members of the board that many newer members post only those five (5) required posts and then never contribute to the board again. This has been seen as unfair by our active members, hence the implementation of this rule.
Any member who has fifty (50) or more posts and does not post within a six (6) month period will now be demoted to the newbie group until such a time as when they post again. If they are in that group for a minimum of three (3) months then they shall be further demoted to the +probie group. To avoid either one of these demotions from happening then a member must make at least one post within any six (6) month period.
If you are demoted, either from the newbie group or any of the full member groups, and then come back and post then please pm me and I will re-instate you to your proper member group.

The staff may lock, move, trash, delete or otherwise alter any thread or post as they see fit. Further, the staff may take any actions that are deemed necessary for the good of the board without notification or consensus of the membership. This includes but is not limited to the following actions: warning bars, temporary bans, permanent bans, amending the rules, changing forum policy, and other actions deemed appropriate as needed.

Personal messages are to be used to communicate between members when they may feel there is a need for privacy for what they wish to convey to each other. It is not to be used for spamming in any way, shape or form. Members are encouraged to report any PMs that they feel may break this rule. Members are also encouraged to report anything that they may find offensive/slanderous/obusive from any member.
Members are able to block other members from sending them PMs if they so wish. However, it is prohibited to block the administrator or any moderator. We have to be able to communicate with you if need be, and emails will only be used as a last resort. Any official PMs sent by either myself or the moderator will be tracked so we know if you have read them or not.

Avatars
Avatars are used to help distinguish members at a glance. If a member does not select/upload an avatar then one may be chosen for you, at the discretion of the Administration.
Links to external avatars are not permitted, nor are links to any avatars found on this board. Anyone found in breach of this rule will receive a warning and a request to cease the link.. If they ignore that request then the Administrators hold no responsibility for what may be used as a replacement for any linked avatars.

Attachment restrictions:
Please, please, please, please do not post big photos/pictures on the forum as they take up a lot of room.
Unfortunately the board software does not allow me to restrict the upload limit so please heed the following advice:
If a photo/picture is wider than it is higher then ensure the width of the attachment does not exceed 800px
If a photo/picture is higher than it is wider then ensure the height of the attachment does not exceed 800px
If you need help in resizing then please let me know. I'll willing to resize them for you if you have no software where you can do it yourself. This shall be done via email.
If you would prefer to do it yourself go here and download the last program "Faststone Photo Resizer"
I have changed all the current uploads to the acceptable size but it means me having to download the files via ftp, resizing them and the re-uploading.
If you are attaching an article for us to read then leaving it at its normal size is acceptable.

Some extra rules regarding all attachments found on this board:
1) All photographs taken by members are copyrighted to that member and may not be copied, altered, and/or posted any where else, either on the internet or in real life, without written permission by that member.
Any member found in breach of this rule will immediately be suspended for at least period of one (1) week. Further action may be taken if so desired by the owner of the photograph.
2) If you find a photograph that you think would interest members here; ie. the recent ones of Paul; then please post a link to where a member can find the photograph. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE IT HERE AS ALL PHOTOGRAPHS ARE COPYRIGHTED!
Any member found in breach of this rule will receive up to three (3) warnings. If that member continues to break this rule then they will have their privilege to use attachments revoked.
3) All screen captures/created avatars/created icones, etc. cannot be used on this board without the permission of their creator. They may not be copied, altered and/or posted elsewhere without permission by the member, or at least without an acknowledgement of where they came from and who created them.
Any member found in breach of this rule will have their privilege to use attachments revoked.
